I received the 50,000 mile bonus tonight, so it appears that I've managed to get around the 18-month rule. To recap:
26/SE/13 Citi AA Platinum Select Mastercard 1
06/OC/14 Citi AA Platinum Select Mastercard 2
10/MR/15 Citi AA Platinum Select Mastercard 3
with 8 Hilton Visas scattered in between.
I did think of a reason the rule might not apply. The 2nd card was actually a Platinum Select World
Elite MC while the other 2 were just World MCs, so maybe they consider that a different product.
