I too am looking for a room in Berlin but for early July. At the usual booking engines, I'm getting quotes of about US$ 200 per nite for a standard room at the Ritz. I always heard that hotel rates in Berlin are cheap compared to other cities but 200 for a room at any Ritz seems like a down right steal. It's my first time to Berlin so I may just go with it.
My parents once stayed at the Ritz for under 150 € per night, so yes it can be very cheap (with all consequences).
