Whilst BA might appear not to care, and you will get a bog standard reply because that's how we seem to do things nowadays, I can assure you we do care and action will be taken. On one of the flights I was overseeing, we risked a delay because we considered the toilets were not cleaned to the standard we would expect and called the cleaners back before departure.

On another flight, the captain himself called the cleaners back because Engineering had fixed something to do with the ovens in the rear galley, but in doing so, had trampled grime and old food detritus into the carpets.

We also have a special department set up rejoicing in the name of "Aircraft Appearance" and they are battling to restore the cleanliness of the BA brand!

If any of our aeroplanes are in an unfit state, please do write in with details quoting the aircraft registration. I promise it will be dealt with.
