Can also connect via GBI on LIAT, if this is easier than MIA. LI does not have a brilliant punctuality record, it might be admitted.

Would you mind having a detailed fish through your emails, including the junk/spam folder, to see if there is any correspondence from BA you might be missing?

It would not actually surprise me if BA did not send you anything, but it is useful to be sure.

Anyway, I would say before your next discussion with BA, check the alternative options (including the Virgin Atlantic options?) and know what you will accept and what you would not.

Well I've taken the liberty of checking the loads on this day --- every flight out of there including connections is fully booked (and likely oversold).
I can only hope that they bagged a final two seats for you.

I am sure one of the experts will be along shortly but it seems that BA is under some obligation either through their own contract of carriage with your or by EC 261/2004 to arrange your transportation.

The two week period I believe is relevant for compensation not for re-routing.
