AA gives me choices:
1.) rebook on Friday. I have to take an extra day off and to pay one night of hotel out of my pocket.
2.) re-route to Omaha on Saturday, then I have to find a way to Sioux City by myself.

I think it would be fair for AA to pay or give me couch to cover the hotel or extra ground transportation. But AA doesn’t want to give any compensation. What Can I do?
I dont know how or where you work, but you can catch a 1745 PHL-ORD that connects to the 2025 ORD-SUX... that gets you in Friday night at 2208. Sure you'll have to spend an extra hotel night, but it gets you to SUX. It also lets you works most of the day on Friday.

Conversely you could look to fly into FSD or OMA. FSD is closer than OMA, but with fewer options.

AA's EAS contract only pays them to operate 1 RT on Saturdays.
