I flew a day return last weekend with VSLR and they outshine BA both in product and service. Big seats with plenty of leg room, nice little ambience onboard with the mood lighting, crew were extremely attentive and nothing was too much trouble. full bar service onboard and snacks, but if you want breakfast then buy before you fly as the bacon butty was smaller than the palm of my hand, but if you're paying £80 over £275 then you can afford to splash out a bit on breakfast! :-)

I'll be sad to see them go, the service was personable and the staff both on the ground and in the air actually enjoyed their job...

If you're VS gold flash your card at the No.1 lounge bar in EDI, as the 'payg' nature of the lounge suddenly disappears, and you are encouraged to enjoy a glass of champers every 15 mins or so.. ;-) couldn't beat the service in the lounge at all.

If you can get flights with VS for the £80 return - snap them up! Needless to say - all my LHR-EDI flights are with VS until they cease operations.
