Presumably no different to what happens day in day out which is why they are closing down.

The abnormal demand will be coming from transfer traffic at the end of the school holidays and BA seem to have culled a number of LHR-EDI flights too - now only 5 on Saturday???

But if you are saying people would rather pay £200 more to fly BA on this route than take the VS/EI flight then you should see a doctor.

As I've said, it's us as consumers - whether you "like" VS or not (I've never flown them so have no opinion) - that will lose. Presumably without competition, that £275 fare I was offered would be £375 - if indeed there was a seat left...
