So I need to go to Scotland this weekend.

BA want - quite literally - an arm and a leg for any sensibly timed flights. What's not sold out from Heathrow is only showing full Y. £275 on an HBO fare. FlyBe from BHX (I'm half way between the two) want £150 minimum.

Heck, at one point I was considering taking the train all the way - £120 in first.

So anyway I check out Little Red. £80, and they've let me assign myself into 1C for no charge despite having no status.

What a bizarre - and slightly sorry - state of affairs. I may be a Virgin virgin, but i'll be sad to see them go...
