Two Words: Long Layover.
I don't fly enough now to make a memby work at all. But a long layover is a great way to spend $50 for a few hours of internet, a seat, and power nearby.
On the same $50 pass, however, the agents REALLY went out of their way to let me know there was no seating left. I accepted anyway and walked up to an open workstation. I really thought UA was great on this one.
