Do the math. If the bag was out in the first batch I would have caught an earlier bus (hopefully) so I would have been between half hour to 0 minutes early for the meeting. It's not like I got written up, it was just an inconvenience and a little embarassing. Regarding the volunteer situation I would just WebEx'd into the meeting from the starbucks while I waited for the next flight.
