1C is my seat, so you can't have that!

So long as you keep switched on, 1C has the best of both worlds since you can stretch your legs past the bulkhead and wardrobe. However if you are trying to protect kneecaps then it is at risk from clumsy passengers and even the trolly if you are not careful. I've never been struck but there are loads of complaints from other FTers who say it has happened to them. 1B, 1D and 1E all have less leg room overall than row 12 because your feet are trapped by the bulkhead.
