I'm booking my honeymoon in Aruba (7 nights) and Curacao (6 nights), followed by 5 nights in New York... I have a number of options tentatively booked for Aruba, and I am trying to choose between the below three. Do you have any views on which of the following would be best for a honeymoon.. Apart from an overnight in Boston, Aruba is our first destination. We are in our late twenties, and enjoy an equal split of 'beach days' and 'activity days'.
My options are
- Marriott Limited View Room 157++
- Ritz Ocean Front 297 ++
- Marriott Tradewinds Club (presumably ocean view room and not suite) 357++
I'm currently tending towards the limited view room in the marriott, hoping for an upgrade, and choosing how to spending the additional $200 each day out in restaurants/pool bar/town. Does anyone know if this resort is generous with upgrades?
I think my second choice would be the Ritz - neither of us have stayed there before.
My final choice I think is the tradeswinds club... Apart from the guaranteed room upgrade and breakfast, I'm don't think I would extract much greater value from a hotel lounge.
