I recently overheard a passenger complain to a FA that he lost his paid Wi-Fi. She said she would check into it, but I never saw her come back to him with a reason or resolution.
Yesterday, I lost the connection, while watching the Masters. I tried rebooting several times, waited awhile, then tried once more with success. Soon after I was able to re-connect, the passenger across the aisle lost his connection (he was also watching the Masters coverage). I observed him try the same things I did, without any luck. Only after the person sitting next to him turned off her tablet, was he able to connect and watch the end of the tournament.
