Quite disappointing as it means re-qualification and not for life. Was much easier to take 2 flights a year than have to now gain 4000 odd loyalty credits every two years!!
When will Gulf Air understand they need to honour their most loyal pax not add more obstacles?
Consistent I guess with Gulf Air's backward thinking since its fall from glory over the past 10 years.
I was surprised at the first news and checked my profiler to find that I was also promoted to Black, and not life anymore. They are taking the life away, since they would be losing money in for-life benefits when compared to the revenue from two rounds trips per year.
I hope that this black tier is only temporary, or an add-on to our for-life status, as I have achieved it only within 2.5 years and should be rewarded for such fast achievement......
Gulfair, please reinstate our for-life tiers..
