Recently I had the opportunity to fly on Qatar Airways’ new A350 Business Class, from Doha to Frankfurt.
The flight was operated by the second A350 to be delivered to Qatar, which at the time of flying was just less than a month old.
As usual, I have put together a video trip report which you can find at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gjk9MmtTM00
However, some photos of the trip are below.
The standard ‘waiting for departure’ shot, with a freshly printed copy of the International New York Times accompanied by a glass of Billecart-Salmon
Waiting for departure from gate A1 at DOH, next to company A380 operating the morning London service
Soaring over Bahrain around 15 minutes after take-off
Qatar’s new Business Class seat available on the A350 and 787
Sampling some more of the Billecart-Salmon from the bar between doors 2L/R
The A350 Business Class cabin - notice no central overhead lockers
Cruising across the Black Sea. The A350 is a fantastic aircraft, very smooth and almost as quiet as the A380
The second meal service, a delicious chicken and blue cheese salad, washed down with a Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc
followed by a cheese board and a glass of the Kopke 1974 port
Arrival into Frankfurt, right on schedule
