Because it's good advice that if you have a toddler who needs attention in an adjacent seat, it's better to go in a cabin with a more conventional seating layout, where such attention can be more easily given. I don't think anyone is trying to say "your type shouldn't fly in J", just trying to give practical advice. There just isn't a seat BA can allocate in Club where the OP's concerns about the dividing wall would be solved.
