If someone can help me with this it will be greatly appreciated.

Italian national:

Flying CDG-WUH (Wuhan) arriving 0930am

Connecting with a separate ticket (Flying Blue award) on China Southern that same day non stop

WUH-HKT departing 23:00

Will it be good for the 24 hour visa free transit? And if so , someone knows what happens as it is a very long layover in WUH will they let me walk around the airport or they enclose you on a waiting area? Will my bag be checked all the way from CDG to HKT via WUH as AF/CZ are Skyteam members?

Seems WUH is nomited soon to be on the 72hr visa free program but until now on TIMATIC is not published yet as such.
