If you're trying to find out how to resolve mileage earning discrepancies with UA flights credited to Aeroplan, you're in the wrong forum. You will find more people with that experience (if they exist) in the Air Canada Aeroplan forum.

I've sometimes struggled to get AC mileage posted to Mileage Plus, but that's the opposite issue that you've got here, I think. The rules on fares earning mileage are not necessarily transitive. What a UA fare earns in MP is not always the same as what it would earn on Aeroplan.
