Very true! What I meant is that if one person in a group decides to pop to the loo or park the car or whatever while the others check in, the other pax cannot check that person in - all pax have to present themselves in person. As you say, in such a situation the 'missing' person could then check themselves in later on, but the others can't check in on their behalf.
