Post Don't Trust Google Translate for English-Chinese translation!

I have the same question as well.

Just to be sure, are you trying to express your devotion to someone special, like this?

If you used Google Translate for Chinese, please don't. Google Translate doesn't handle idioms well. It can sometimes help with a single word/vocabulary but can even fail such a simple word-to-word translation miserably. In your example, it translated "bucket" and "list" separately & independently then gave your a meaningless phrase in Chinese. No native-Chinese speakers would get what you are saying.

merriam-webster.com

Definition of BUCKET LIST: a list of things that one has not done before but wants to do before dying
Instead of "bucket list", you should give Google Translate the above definition and see if it can come up with something closer to the true meaning in Chinese or any other languages.
