Most of the annual fee for this card is attributable to the Admirals Club membership. If you need that the only alternative is Citi Prestige which also costs $450, but refunds $250, and provides Admirals Club access only when flying on AA, rather than a membership. Prestige provides various other benefits, but does not earn AAdvantage miles.

If you do not need Admirals club access choosing another card depends on the type of benefits and rewards which interest you. You have not provided sufficient details for anyone to recommend a specific card.
