if flying Y you will have 30kg allowance (not depending on pieces)
with *A Gold an additional 10kg
TG is usually very generous with a few kg over the limit, so I would not bother to buy in advance if excess is just a couple of kg
otherwise pay at check in counter. it is 55 THB for BKK UTH per kg excess
