Q: Single operating certificate = all AA flight numbers now?
I believe AA now as a single operating certificate for the merged airline and there no longer is US Airways. I presume this means all US Airways flight codes are now replaced with AA flight numbers, right?
The reason for asking is that I am thinking about crediting my upcoming flight (ticketed and flown by US Airways) to Alaskan Airlines program if my US Airways flights are coded as AA flights. It will then allow me to park my miles in AS program rather than AA program since I have already requalified for EXP.
Please share any experiences with this regards and I apologize if this has already been discussed!
