There is no advantage to you in cancelling and no significant advantage to others. If you cancel at T-60 and the aircraft goes MX at T-55, you have lost what you could have had as a refund.
Conversely, if you cancel at T-60, it's not as though the GA is going to call the first SB as soon as you call in.
AA counts on noshows.
