Ignore what UA says. Your baggage allowance is 40 kg per *G passenger and 20 kg for non-status passenger. You can split this up in however many bags you want.
TK is also known for not being terribly strict on bag weight.
Thanks, and if I read TK's website correctly, VCE-IST is going to add 6 euro (Zone 1 to IST) per kg over the limits (if they act strictly). We may exceed 60kg in total I think but not by that much.
