Turkish Air Baggage Allowance for United *Gold Pax

Flying Turkish Air for first time tomorrow from VCE to IST in Economy (V). My United-purchased ticket (one way stand alone) shows a baggage allowance of first bag free second bag $45 with bangs being allowed up to 30 kg.
My wife and I will be checking two bags each (or four bags total) so presumably we will pay $90 but I am not certain about a few things. I have gone through Turkish Air's website but it actually was more confusing and less clear than the information on the ticket.
What I am not sure of:
1) Will my wife also be allowed one free and one bag for $45? The standard language United puts on tickets is that allowances may vary depending on status. My wife has no special status this year on United but she is on my ticket.

2)If my wife has different baggage rights then what rules would apply to her? Knowing this in advance could allow me to take my bags up to the max of 30kg on purpose to minimize weight-based fees for "her" two bags that it looks like Turkish air usually uses for bags or weight over any limits.

2) Is it really 30 kg per bag? That looks like the max weight for business passengers so is my *G status gaining me the business passenger max weight?
