Location: 1 hour from Khao Yai, Thailand. No longer Bangkok, China, Taiwan , Palm Coast, FL, LA, or Chicago though still exiled, again, from the Bay Area.

Could be worth it, if you need to go there, or you want to go there or you are getting some benefit from going there. Just to generate elite status, I would try to stay under 4 cents per mile and under 2 cents per total mileage. Vacation time may be different.
