When JAX was open, we were Teleflight Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary - and we weren't mainline either. Teleflight is gone now but the name remains at the entrance to Waterside, inside the lobby, along with all the other subsidiary companies...
Makes sense - stops anyone registering a company using the name.

I work for Transport for London. When we wanted to set up a subsidiary called for "London Rail Ltd" we discovered an individual had name squatted and wanted money.

So we registered Rail for London Ltd instead...
