Quick question about Gold Status and Plus seats, as I've heard certain anecdotes, and am wondering what the reality is.

Is it possible for Gold Status members to be upgraded to Plus seats at the gate for free? I've heard from certain members (and Westjet staff) that this is a possibility. I've yet to try it, flying to YVR Sunday and might try it then.

Of course, I know our vouchers don't qualify us to upgrade to Plus seats, but also that Darren knows this is an issue
