As a European I can honestly say that there isn't a single US EL lounge which is of any interest whatsoever. US EL breakfasts are a bit, well, too "US" for my taste. Everything is too sweet..

If I am in Chicago I stay at The Wit (doubletree). No EL, no upgrade, but a contribution coupon towards a decent breakfast.
