Saw this in today's Hilliergram regarding the A380 between LHR and SFO.

What's the story about downloading stuff to devices before the flight? Has this been available for a while?

Entertainment: A new in-flight entertainment system, which offers an extra 75% of TV and film content and also allows downloads to your device of choice before the flight.
