I imagine that EK, who have their own terminal (T3) anyway, will treat First Class pax very well, but you can also pay for the Marhaba service if your airline doesn't offer it. Of course, this doesn't apply if you're in transit.
I flew in on BA107 last week in First, and prior to landing all passengers were told by the CSD that groundstaff would be waiting for us on landing to escort us through security. The CSD was a bit bemused by this, as he'd only been contacted about it during the flight and it was clearly a new thing, but he said that apparently premium passengers had been complaining about the time taken to get through immigration.
On arrival, we disembarked to find that it was Marhaba staff waiting for us - there was however quite a bit of confusion as they'd grouped passengers rather randomly, and wouldn't take those of us who were quickly off the plane straight away. They told me I needed to wait for the passenger in 3k (who was not travelling with me) - I advised them that she'd requested a wheelchair transfer whilst on board and was still sat on the plane, so there was no point waiting for her. The lady in 1k hadn't bothered stopping and made a dash for it, which also confused the staff. After 5 minutes or so of the Marhaba team running backwards and forwards, and some insistence from us that we get going, we set off, and did at least get a buggy through the long underpass. The queues in immigration were long and there was no sign of a fasttrack lane, but we were whisked straight to an empty desk set aside for Marhaba and were through immediately. Bags were already on the belt when we arrived in baggage claim but overall, despite the delay in getting moving, we were through faster than we would otherwise have been.
Thumbs up to BA for organising this, now they just need to get Marhaba to be a bit more efficient, and the whole arrivals process would be perfect. Next step will be arranging similar on departure, as the security and passport control is a nightmare with no sign of fasttrack.
