Am I missing something here? Why not just book via the website as per the T & Cs?
I have been a member for years, and have had no problems with points posting for stays and promotions.
Can't book corporate rates on website. For us, the only way to book corporate rates is by calling directly.
When I call, one of two things happen:
1) In business hours: Hotel reservations call centre picks up, any such stay doesn't get honoured
2) Outside business hours: Central reservations call centre picks up, these stays get honoured
Either case is a direct booking with Accor, handled by an Accor call centre. Except they refuse to regard Hotel reservations call centre as an Accor call centre for the purposes of offers/promos (but it is an official call centre as far as basic stay and points are concerned). So I was very much of the impression I was well within the T&C. I mean how would I ever guess Accor would regard its own hotel reservations centre as not an Accor call centre, only for offers/promos
Its a very weird gotcha.
