Yes, indeed - almost all contract lounges are poor in comparison to anything an airline would provide, and there are a number of threads in here that are testament to that. They have to be a profit centre for the business running them, whereas airline ones are a necessary cost in (particularly) hubs to attract passengers so - whilst that cost may be minimised by enhancements - the focus is always going to be slightly different.

However, as a quiet place to sit for an hour and have a drink to relax ahead of getting on the plane - where you'll be fed reasonably in Business anyway, at least compared to Economy - contract lounges are still functional and usually adequate. Nothing to suggest that Dublin is any different.
