Right. I've only ever used the Al Mourjan Business Lounge in Doha. It's accessible for anyone flying biz on QR, whether BA Gold or not. I'd suggest that it's better than many BA First lounges, at least in terms of food and wine.
While this doesn't offer any benefit to the OP solely in terms of being a GCH, it is an easy (and pleasant) way to accumulate TPs in order to reach Gold and enjoy the Gold benefits (such as they are these days!) on other trips...
