I've flown with them a few times ex-UK to Asia and the overall product is excellent and superior to BA, they're often cheaper than BA, and you'll typically get 140+140 going out and the same coming back. So pretty easy to reach Gold. Of course, you have to stopover in their excellent lounge in Doha.
