As JDiver said, any activity in your AAdvantage account will do it. AS you live in the UK, one possibility is that if you ever take a BA domestic flight, credit it to your AA account.
Thanks, aktchi. All my BA flights are credited to my BAEC account! However, I will be doing some runs in the U.S. later this year, so I may credit one AA flight to my new AA account to extend the miles. Or, I can just make the 1,000 miles donation.
