When is a flight free vs. reduced? How hard would flying non-revenue New York-Boston be?
A flight from JFK to BOS would be at no cost to the crewmember or dependents. Reduced rate standby would apply only to buddy passes. Internationally crewmembers must pay applicable government taxes and that is it.
