Actually it is a short street across from the Colosseo in Rome that has been officially named "Gay Street di Roma" with several gay bars and shops. The street's formal name is Via San Giovanni in Laterano, and it is quite nice. But seeing that it holds more or less the entire gay offering of Rome it is not THAT impressive...
