I used frequent flyer miles to get to MKE on NWA. NWA was running $105 between MKE and SFO. You can add a ton of connections through Chicago, DTW, MSP, MEM to SFO. Can get about 3000 miles one way. Fares are 12/16 to 12/19 good luck.
