If you have a car try to avoid the city centre, especially the old part of town.

There is plenty of parking next to the 158, i.e. parking lots of numerous grocery stores.

You can also take the bus, there is a bus stop directly in front of the Sheraton Jagdhof, some 800m up the hill from the Schloss.

You could also take the freeway to the Outlet Center Salzburg, close to the airport, leave your car there and take public transport into the city centre, probably the most convenient way.

This is Austria after all, so public transport is clean, safe, fast & reliable, hence your best option.

In case you decide to take the car, the Sheraton Salzburg has a parking garage priced at € 2,50 per hour and the Goldener Hirsch offers Valet Parking.

Alternatively, Schloss Fuschl has a fleet of MB SUV for transporting guests to and from Salzburg
