I've done this, but SAVE YOUR BOARDING PASS as it took a few weeks for this work. They'll need the ticket number and may want a copy of it. I was using a GUC for HKG and credited it to AS. I ended up having to call Alaska and they entered the flights manually even after I called DL several times trying to get them to remove my DL number and add my AS number.
