I am hoping to have both of us go into the same line as it is possible that I may be pulled aside again. Is it possible and which queue should we choose?
Since you are living together and he is just a visitor to the US, you should choose to go through the visitor line together with him. For some customs declaration purposes, being unmarried won't protect you from being considered in the same household/party as your boyfriend. Fill out separate declarations, but make sure to consider your combined position with regards to customs declaration items -- including the $10,000 or more declaration requirement.
