An Indian hotelier had been trying for some time to ink a deal with a major international hotel brand to develop and flag properties in the Kashmir side of the Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir, and Radisson seems to be it. Looks like it will be for at least two or three properties. Opening schedule is unclear still.

Radisson/Carlson seems to have one of the bigger footprints in India, relative to other major international hotel companies, so not all that surprising.
