If a suited & booted elderly couple is offended by the fact that others are dressed in shorts & flip-flops, that's their problem. The fact that they saved for a lifetime does not give them the right to enforce their outdated views of how people should dress on others.

Personally, I seriously can't understand why anyone taking a once in a lifetime trip would be offended by someone else's clothing. If their enjoyment of their lives is dependent on whether or not others conform to their values, I don't get that.
