I doubt that Amex cares as they have to give the points whether it's to one or two HHonors accounts. And I doubt that Hilton cares that much either as I'm not sure that they know whether the cards are separate accounts, one is an AU, or both cards belong to the same person but one is a Surpass and one isn't.
I'm surprised! So you have different cards with different names all tied to one Hhonors acct number? If this works I'm in. I just don't see it happening if the names are different and account number the same, not much downside trying. I just can;t see different names (more than one) tied to one account number. They don't allow two people with different names to co-own 1 Hhonors account, that's certain. However If the card issuers are just dumping points into one Hhonors account, that's great and a loophole. I just got off the phone with Hhonors and they state one name to one account number.
Thank you
