I need to stay in a hotel in Kuala Lumpur for over a month and I am considering the Grand Hyatt. Do you think it would be possible to negotiate some sort of discount for a stay of that length? If so who should I contact to discuss (the title of the person who would handle these types of requests at a hotel).

Also, if i were able to negotiate a discount which wouldn't be a standard rate, would I still earn points and stay credits. I would prefer it to count so it can make up the bulk of my diamond re-qualification for the year.
