The printing excursion is going to suck up at least 10 mins even if you nail down the logistics (don't use gmail btw). One of the hotels between the terminals might be able to make it happen; confirm with a phone call.
If I were you, I'd book the 4p flight the next day and chill out in Shanghai. No stress, and it's not like you'll gain a usable day in Singapore if you take the red eye or the 8a.
