The problem with E-Z is that they have some crazy terms. Something along the lines of "your reservation is cancelled after one hour". Who among us has not had a flight delayed an hour? So, you show up at E-Z and they say "I'm sorry, the car you reserved for $140 a week expired at 7pm. We do have cars, but our walk-up price is $320". Ouch
Read their terms carefully and if you are are not confused and understand what you are getting into......I've had friends that have rented from them with no problems. The discount companies use all sorts of tricks to get you into purchasing insurance, or roadside service etc....so they are not for novices. If you are well-versed in the car rental game and know how to say NO and carefully check what you are signing....you should be okay.
