So what are current card holders doing? I want to continue to have an Amex card, and I imagine I'll probably continue to fly JetBlue primarily.* And I'm not sure of the best way to square that circle. Right now I only have the one credit card and I don't spend all that much on it and only fly a few times a year. Up until now that combination got me a free flight or two most years, and I got to take some trips that I otherwise wouldn't.

So I'm trying to think about strategy. Do I drop the jetBlue card now, and sign up for a new Amex right away, and then maybe also sign up for the Barclays card when it comes out? Or do I hold onto the JetBlue card now, and see if Amex has any better signup/retention offers later in the year...but if I wait too long to cancel and am automatically converted to Barclays, than I'll lose any signup offer they give.
